DZ582

The DZ582X series is a complete constant-current / constant voltage linear charger for single cell Lithium-Ion batteries. No external sense resistor is needed, and no blocking diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture. Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature. The final float voltage is fixed at 4.4 V for DZ582A, 4.365 V for DZ582B, 4.35 V for DZ582C and 4.2 V for DZ582D, and the charge current and the terminal current can be programmed externally with resistors. The input voltage is up to 32 V. In communication mode (EN = High, 0 < VIN < 2.8 V), the series of DZ582X enters a low current state, dropping the battery drain current to 25 µA, and channel resistance is 20 Ω. The DZ582X series is available in a small package with QFN1.6*1.6-12.
